This vase looks like fabric caught mid-fold and turned to stone. Deep vertical pleats run the full height of the body, each one textured with fine horizontal lines that catch the light differently depending on the angle. The top edge is jagged and uneven — not a flaw, but the point — like pages torn from a book or the eroded rim of an ancient vessel. In warm chalky beige it feels like compressed earth. In deep charred black it feels like something pulled from a kiln at its limit.
